Appeal following deliberate fire

We are appealing for information following a deliberate fire in Burton-upon-Trent. 

We were called at 2.25am yesterday (Wednesday 15 October) to Balata Way, Burton-upon-Trent, following reports of a car fire which had spread to a house.

Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service. 

The fire was extinguished by fire crews and thankfully nobody was reported injured. 

The fire was deemed to have been caused deliberately and our investigation is ongoing.
